A joint effort between the Southern Rockies Ecosystem Project and the San Juan Citizens' Alliance producing a conservation alternative for the revision of the San Juan National Forest Forest Plan.  Many factors were considered including wilderness quality, species habitat, recreation access, and mining and industry such as oil & gas, coal, timber, and other mining.
