A joint effort between the Southern Rockies Ecosystem Project and the High Country Citizens' Alliance producing a conservation alternative for the revision of the Grand Mesa, Uncompahgre, & Gunnsion National Forest.  Many factors were considered including wilderness quality, species habitat, recreation access, and mining and industry such as oil & gas, coal, timber, and other mining.
